Senior Community Schools Director, New York City
Natasha Mir is a Senior Community Schools Director working across our partner community schools throughout New York City. As Senior Community Schools Director, Natasha is responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of the community school strategy in collaboration with Community School Directors, school leadership, and community partners. Previously, Natasha was the Community School Director at IS 349. Prior to joining CSS, Natasha worked in public schools as a first grade teacher in Mississippi and a special education coordinator in Harlem. She has also consulted for the New York City Department of Education as an Education Pioneers Fellow and a pre-K evaluator. Natasha holds a master’s degree in public administration from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and a bachelor’s degree in peace and conflict studies from Vassar College.
