Natasha Mir is a Community School Director working with IS 349, the School for Math, Science, & Technology in New York City. As a Community School Director, Natasha is responsible for the day-to-day management of the community school strategy in collaboration with school leadership and community partners. Prior to joining CSS, Natasha worked in public schools as a first grade teacher in Mississippi and a special education coordinator in Harlem. She has also consulted for the New York City Department of Education as an Education Pioneers Fellow and a pre-K evaluator. Natasha holds a master’s degree in public administration from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and a bachelor’s degree in peace and conflict studies from Vassar College.
