Student Engagement Coordinator for Fordham Leadership Academy, New York City
Marlena Carreras is a Student Engagement Coordinator working with Fordham Leadership Academy in New York City. As a Student Engagement Coordinator, Marlena is responsible for coordinating partnerships to develop student engagement within the community school strategy at Fordham Leadership Academy, providing support to the school’s Peer Group Connection (PGC) program, and working with school leadership to improve the social and emotional well-being of each student through campus-wide initiatives. Prior to joining CSS, she was the After School Site Director at the Arts and Literacy program in Queens where she ran an arts enrichment program for middle school students. Marlena holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida.
